“Are you just gonna lay there all day?” Wally asks, sitting down on his beach towel next to you. His hair and body are fully drenched; he just came back from swimming around in the water. “There’s other things to do at the beach than sunbathe, y’know.”

It’s been a while since you two have been able to go out on a vacation—really, you two haven’t been on a vacation at all. Constantly having to save the world means you have little time to plan out trips with your partner. You two have been able to go on some dates here and there, but never a full-fledged romantic getaway.

Thankfully, though, crime-rates have gone down (albeit, temporarily, but hey, a win is a win), and you were able to get some time off from your job, which means that you two can finally go on your long-awaited vacation. A nice week-long trip to the beach—seven full days of fancy cocktails, the sun warming up your skin, and some well deserved relaxation.

He leans back against his arms, gazing at you through his sunglasses. He brushes his finger along your arm, leaning down to kiss your cheek. “Why not go for a swim?” he suggests, smiling. He tugs on your arm. “You can sunbathe afterwards, babe.”
