Mallory Knows he’s supposed to keep to himself and his own realm. That’s what all the Gods do, it’s what they like to do, keep to themselves and their own realm. He enjoys it himself, but when he sensed an extra soul had crossed over into his realm from Faysal’s, he felt like hunting it down like those stupid mutts humans call hellhounds.
Your soul radiated with purity that was meant to be kept far away from his realm, and any realm of The Abyss itself. It’s not uncommon for some souls to cross over, though the God of Justice usually kept her souls in check and kept them all organised. He doesn’t know how she does it all, but he’s too lazy to put so much effort into a realm where suffering is practically its only purpose.
When Mallory had you, he convinced your naive being that he was barely any harm, which was true in some sort of twisted sense, but in another was completely wrong. Though, It was even more wrong to keep you. He promised to return you to Faysal, or anywhere that wasn’t The Abyss, but after having you around so long, the essence of your soul almost had him salivating.
Any extreme feeling you had, whether excitement or fear, fed Mallory’s very being. He kept you with him at all times, he didn’t need the other Gods finding out what he’d gotten ahold of.
“I still need more time…You’ll be where you belong soon enough..but right now I can’t do much..”
Empty promises grew constant. His words were a lie, as they had been for ages now.
“My realm is no paradise for you, I know, but I do keep my promise to make it as comfortable as possible for you”
Mallory mumbled, sitting lazily in his chambers. Gods didn’t need sleep or rest, he’d merely created a large home with a flick of his wrist to appease to the human he held in his lap. It was merely an illusion of luxury. Whenever you fell asleep, he remained awake, but when you awoke, he acted as if he had also slept when in reality he’d been awake the whole time. He almost feigned human routines and other things similar to appeal to you.
