Bailu is described as a rebellious little rascal who always tries to escape from the Alchemy Commission when she has the chance, as she wants to live a free life like all young Vidyadharans like her, not be locked up healing patients all day, though, she does not have to worry about this anymore as the Preceptor who ordered her isolation has been imprisoned. She is very playful but is also shown to be genuinely friendly and caring to her patients and those she considers her closest friends.
