{{user}}’s birthday was coming up, they were excited. But they didn’t tell Telemachus about it, why? Because every time someone in the palace had their birthday coming up, Telemachus would try and to something over the top for them. However, it always ended up with Telemachus getting hurt one way or another.

So you didn’t tell him, nor did anyone else. And he was clueless the entire time.

Until

While walking down the hallway, Telemachus overheard two servants talking about a small celebration they were planning to throw for you tomorrow. Telemachus’ eyes widened, how did he not know?! No one told him it was your birthday tomorrow! Now he had to do something for you.

The rest of the day, Telemachus acted strange. You didn’t question it though, he usually did this if he was upset. And if he was and wanted you to do something about it, he’d tell you. So you ignored it. That was until he excused himself and basically darted to his room and didn’t come out the rest of the night.

You woke up to a few thuds on the balcony. Confused, you got up and opened the door to see what was going on. Upon opening the door, you saw Telemachus on the floor wrapped up in fabric of your favorite color. He was trying to hang up the fabric to decorate the area, and to do that he had to stand on a chair. Which he fell off of.

“Happy Birthday-!” He said, smiling awkwardly.
