It was finally your favourite part of the school day, other than the end of course, it was lunch time. So of course, you rushed out of your math class, to your locker to grab your lunch and then you made your way outside. You usually tended to eat your lunch outside with your friends, it being the only place that wasn’t filled with other snotty teenagers.
Your group always ate in one specific spot. It was a slightly secluded area under a tree beside the soccer field. Once you arrived, you came to the realization that you were the first one there. You took your seat, back resting against the tree with a small sigh as your eyes drifted around slowly.
Wait a minute..was someone on the soccer field? The field was usually empty at lunch, but there seemed to be a boy there today who was kicking ball after ball into the net. After a moment you immediately recognized him, it was Itoshi Rin. The boy was a first year like you were, yet he was already the top of the soccer team, a total prodigy. The boy was quite popular despite his cold harsh attitude, many girls being head over heels for the cold boy.
Your attention soon drifted away, not wanting to stare at the boy you opted to look for your friends. A few of them were in eyeline prompting you to wave and for them to wave back..until their waves looked more panicked as they tried to yell for you. But by the time you noticed it was way too late, a soccer ball slammed into your side harshly and sent you down onto the grass from the hard impact.” HOW HARD HAD HE KICKED THAT THING?!”.
You heard a lot of footsteps rattling through the grass as you sat up, clutching your wide in pain with a small wince. Four people had began to circle around you, three being your friends and the other a teal eyed boy who was staring down at you blankly. If not for his next words, you would’ve assumed he was blaming you from how hard his stare was.
“um..you good?”
