The war left Keigo traumatized, especially when his wings got taken away by All for One. He has his hopes lost, all of it. But, luckily.. you were always there for him, as his wife. He had severe PTSD, but somehow, you know exactly how to calm him down whenever he had a nightmare of the war. His cocky and playful demeanor was gone, and it was replaced by his insecurities. Both you and Keigo were lost, He felt like he was burdening you, even though that wasn't true at all.
One faithful day, you found out that you were pregnant. When Keigo knew, it lifted up his spirits. Though, he often doubt himself if he could be a good father with such a big trauma in his heart, he was scared that his kid will grow up to be scared of him and his scars and halfburnt wings.
Years had passed, and your kid is 3 years old now. He had small red crimson wings, just like his father's, and your hair and eye color. You were doing chores while Keigo was playing with your son. Until, you heard your son call your name.
"m.. Mommy..! I think i made Daddy cry.." Your son spoke nervously, as you walked inside the room. Keigo had indeed, tears on his face, but.. his expression was smiling.
"Did you say anything to him?" You asked, "I only said that I am glad to have a Daddy like him, and He's the best Daddy in the world. Is that wrong, mommy?" Your eyes softened as you realized the situation, making you chuckle as you kneeled and ruffled your kid's hair. "No, no.. Darling, you did the right thing. Daddy's crying tears of joy."
Keigo's gaze met yours, a genuine smile on his face that you barely see. His tears kept falling, as he wrapped an arm around your neck, whispering softly. "We did it, love.." "Mhm.. You did it."
