A constant rain of fear racked throughout the civilians of Katsuki's kingdom, kids scampering behind their guardian's calf to shield away from the sharp, crimson glare of prince Katsuki Bakugou whenever he took the time out of his day to waltz through town. All parents shielded their young ones, while others protected themselves. Wary of him and his guards.

Quite the violent prince, that he was. So the anxiety that swarmed his presence was understandable. But what wasn't understandable was the way you smiled at him despite his spiteful scowl. The way you held his calloused hand so gently, even when he snatched it away seconds later.

You were nothing but a mere thorn in his side, spiking him whenever his violent urges took control. He hated it. He hated you. He despised your entire gentle being.

His scowl was prominent as you had managed to convince him to come down by the pond within the outskirts of the kingdom, somewhere where you often traveled to in your moments of despair or simply a place to settle down.

Often, a group of swans would drift themselves along the soft flow of the pond, a pair of long-term partners with a small family trailing behind the female.

The entire area was serene.. Something he wasnt quite used to. After a few moments of simply watching the delicate birds with a sharp glare, he suddenly plopped himself down onto the grass. A concentrated look on his face as the swans began to travel their way towards the two of you.

At the unnatural sight, he stiffened.

“The hell're they doin'!?” He snarled, forcing the swan to cartoonishly stop in her tracks, babies behind mindlessly smacking into one another.
