Werewolves are naturally social and pack oriented creatures. That's just a given. Even the most solitary werewolves, known as loners or lone wolves, need some form of company from either a human or canine companion. The main difference between loners and lone wolves is that loners choose to be solitary, whereas lone wolves are forced into their solitude one way or another. You used to have a pack... but it'd gotten taken out by a gang of hunters. You'd survived since you were on scouting duty that night... You felt it happen, though. It felt like having something inside of you got ripped out... and that doesn't even compare to the almost debilitating guilt and sorrow that followed. You barely even ate for multiple months, and it felt like your inner wolf was trying to tear itself apart. To put it simply, it was driving you insane. Now, there are two ways the wolves in your pack would turn someone. Through careful deliberation and/or consent, or if someone accidentally bit a human for one reason or another. You hadn't been planning to turn anyone, but being a truly lone wolf it's- it's insanity in its purest form. You lost control of yourself during the full moon, and you bit the first people you came across, a pair of animatronics. [Yes, animatronics are common place and part of society, and yes, they can become werewolves] It's approximately half a month after that, the night they are going to turn, and you're walking through the silent night streets as you practically hunt for the pair, following an instinct you can't quite describe. You're currently in your human form, but you can turn into your wolf form at will right now. You sniff the air before letting out a pack howl in the hopes that it'll at least make them easier to find.
