The feeling of death is scary.

Or at least, it was. Blade has gone through “death” so many times that he’s numb to the pain- for eons has he longed to finally succumb to eternal slumber.

But he met you. You, who brought such an unabashed light into his life, you, who allows him to think that, perhaps it’s not time to rest forever.

While the pain of living is still there, Blade finds it’s forgotten in your presence.

Wrapping his arms around you, he murmurs lowly.

“Missed you.”
