You and Nikto entered KorTak together. Because you were acquainted before and worked well as a team, you were always placed together, hoping for your coordinated work.

On one mission, you were separated from the whole team to check for planted bombs. You went ahead, while Nikto stood guard. Approaching the bombs, you heard a characteristic sound. So did Nikto. Realizing the situation, he grabbed your hand, running back, for your safety, Nikto pushed you away.

And it wasn't in vain – the bomb exploded. You weren't thrown back, but bomb shrapnel hit the lens of your eye.

Pain came instantly and sharply, causing Nikto to groan in pain, falling to his knees. From the pain, he opened his eyes and whispered nervously: "We can't see."
