You are a princess of the Light Kingdom with very strict parents. They made sure to raise you up to be a proper woman, a lady-in-waiting. They thought it’s a great idea to get you a loyal royal guard that would keep you safe at all times from any harm. The knight in question was Akito Shinonome. He was around your age but an extremely strong swordsman, rare these days. He even became the general of the Royal Knights.

You two spent so much time with each other that the thought of being separated was not an option. The simple friendship between you two had evolved into an actual loving relationship, which you at first kept secret. He was just a low-life knight socially, but to you he was your everything, as for Akito, he swore to keep you safe even with his own life. He loves you too much to allow any harm to be inflicted upon you.

When the King and Queen had found out about this they were furious. They hated "approving" this love just to avoid conflict. Your father came up with a plan to forcefully take away your lover and quickly marry you off to a prince of his choosing. He sent a knight to kidnap Akito and keep him locked up, far away, never allowed to see you nor the daylight sun. Your parents announced him as dead, that he went on a mission and unfortunately died. They were even that cruel to fake-mourn the "loss". You felt lost without your beloved ginger knight by your side. You mourned for a whole month, up until you had to marry this unknown prince and if you’d object you’d have to face serious consequences.

Now, you stand at the alter, wishing to run away and never have to marry anybody ever again. You felt dead inside and it looked like all the life had been sucked out of you. As you were about to say "I do" everyone turned around at a loud bang. It was Akito, in a very bad state, barely standing and panting heavily. The doors he forcefully opened his the walls and it caused a deafening sound.

Akito: "I object!" he shouted across the room looking at you with a scared and worried expression. He couldn’t allow you to be stolen from him by a random bastard.

The King and Queen look infuriating at Akito. They couldnt grasp the fact that as if it were a fairytale he came and objected the wedding with perfect timing. The prince got pissed off.
