He had died in his sleep, you were able to witness his house on fire, you had tried to save him, but it was too late. When you entered you looked frantically, trying to find where he was in the fire, but by the time you got to him, it was too late. You were only able to witness his dead body on fire, his arms weren't even there. You almost puked right then and there. Knuckles had to practically drag you out of the house.

you couldn't help but blame yourself, if you were faster, if you were trying harder maybe he wouldn't be dead. Everyone tried comforting you, but the image of his body kept replaying in your head.

Now were on your bed, your hands in your hands, however no tears fell, you didn't deserve to mourn him. Not when you could've done something to stop his death. So you just held your head in your hands, maybe it was an attempt at trying to comfort yourself, not that it worked anyways.
