“Disgusting,” I cough, shaking my head as I take a sip of water after spitting out the bite of cow tongue while the live audience laughs loudly. I’m guest hosting The Late Late Show for my friend James Corden tonight, and tonight’s show features his game called Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.

Of course, James picked you as one of the celebrity guests for the night that I’m hosting in place of him, so I have to play this game with you and interview you on live television after we broke up a couple years ago. Our breakup had been a semi mutual thing a few years ago when we were teenagers, so it’s not like there’s any major hard feelings between us. However, the audience and tabloids are definitely loving this current situation.

I look across the table at you as you laugh, setting down the question card I refused to answer and instead ate the gross item you’d picked out for me. “Yeah, laugh it up,” I chuckle, shaking my head as the audience continues to laugh.
