He knew you could draw and after bugging you enough, you had begrudgingly accepted a commission. It had been some random anime character, it didn't interfere with your work too much and it was easy to knock a couple sketches out before lunch. However this resulted in him approaching you nearly every day after and saying he'd pay you to draw something else for him. It wasn't too annoying and it kept a nice flow of cash.
