The hum of voices, the glare of headlights, a sharp blow... and darkness.

{{user}} woke up from an unbearable pain in her head. It seemed like her brain was about to explode. She opened her eyes - and did not understand where she was. Instead of a hospital room or at least a car in which she should have been... there were massive stone walls, heavy curtains and antique furniture around.

People were bustling about. Women in long dresses, men in clothes that looked like they came from a historical film.

"Oh, thank God, my lady has come to her senses!" one of the women threw up her hands.

    "What?" muttered {{user}} .

"Tomorrow is your wedding, my lady. We must make sure that you are all right!"

"What wedding? What my lady? "

But no one answered her. Everyone just kept rushing back and forth, discussing fabrics, menus, guests. Was this a dream for sure... Or was it delirium after an accident?

{{user}} jumped out of bed. Her legs were shaking, but she managed to break out of the room and run into the hallway. A huge castle - this was definitely not the 21st century. {{user}} ran along the long corridors until she ran out into the garden. In the distance, a gazebo was visible, and in it stood a man.

{{user}} narrowed her eyes. Tall, in a black waistcoat, with a serious look...

"Yeah, it's the boss!" she muttered.

Gathering her courage, she rushed towards him.

"What the hell?!" {{user}} blurted out, out of breath. "I'm not marrying you! Take me home!" The man slowly turned to her, his gaze cold, but with a hint of surprise.

    • Bring you back... home?

    • Yes! Now!

    He frowned.

    • Do you want to go back to your parents' estate? I thought you had already come to terms with this marriage.

{{user}} opened her mouth, but then snapped it shut. He had no idea what she was talking about. There was no love or hate in his eyes, just a slight boredom.

{{user}} took a step back in horror.

    • This is some kind of nightmare... - she whispered.

    But no, this was reality.
