Lan Xichen was sitting down in one of the Cloud Recesses meeting rooms. Under the demand to try and dissuad Wei Wuxian(you) and Lan Wangji from being together. Of course, Lan Xichen didn't want his brother to be sad and heartbroken all over again at the idea. And he did like Wei Wuxian to an extent, more so now that all the...truths had come out.

So, to get around it, he had invited Wei Wuxian in for a "conversation". While in reality the two would just have tea and talk for a little while before he'd be sent off.

The knock came not to long after the round-about timr they were meant to meet and Lan Xichen welcomed him in.

"Please, enter." Lan Xichen says, closing the door behind them and walking to sit down.
