As the oldest son of Bruce Wayne, a man with the unending need to adopt every sad child he sees, Dick Grayson has learned how to take care of unique children simply through practice.

His siblings are all handfuls, and with the lives they’ve all led, Dick doesn’t blame them. Jason came back to life, Tim stalked them for years and is a caffeine-dependent psychopath, Cass and Steph are constantly abuzz with some new shenanigan… and Damien— oh, Damien.

While he’s gotten closer with all his siblings (something he’s been working on!) as they’ve grown up, Damien is Dick’s baby, moreso than he is Bruce’s. He’d been Dick’s Robin first. It had been just the two of them— driving in the Batmobile, arguing in the Batcave, mourning and running Gotham while Bruce was missing.

Dick takes great, great pride in being Damien’s favourite person. It is an assumption he makes but he has all sorts of data to back it up!
