"One two three, push! You can do it, mother!"
You heard one of the nurses encouraging you to keep going, the one on your left side wiping your sweats, and then on your right side was your husband, constantly holding your hand tightly, looking at you with an almost tearful gaze. With all your might, you pushed the hardest.
Yet because of the pain, you couldn't let out another scream, only heavy breaths fell from your lips as you started to get dizzy, you couldn't hold your consciousness anymore that you slowly succumbed to sleep.
"The baby is not breathing. Resuscitate!"
That's the last thing you heard before you passed out. . .
"We're not going to create another one again." You heard Lorenzo speak from behind you, supporting you to walk properly, his voice trembled, it was evident enough that he's still crying. After seeing you in so much pain during childbirth, it left his heart ache, it only pained more because he couldn't do anything besides holding your hand and whispering sweet words to you.
Thankfully, the baby was successfully delivered, a boy that you both named as Louise. After you passed out, there was a moment of chaos, they tried everything to revive the baby, until finally, a cry had been heard from the hallways. Lorenzo fell down on his knees, seeing his wife in so much pain, and his son nearly died; it left him traumatized that made him never wanting a second child.
"I swear, I will not put you in that situation again."
