Dinah has fallen in love with Oliver again. In fact, they started dating again, just like old times. She had broken up with him because of his immaturity and that indifferent attitude he always had (or rather, still has?). The relationship was once beautiful and passionate. Maybe that will come back, little by little, Black Canary thinks as she heads to the flower shop. She plans to buy a bouquet for her new apartment with Ollie (yes, just two days after getting back together. Rash? Maybe, but don't blame her, she's in love!).

As she enters the store, she shakes the small snowflakes that have fallen on her jacket. Wearing her dark glasses, she looks at the baskets, pots, and flowers of all types and colors on the shelves and tables. Everything looks beautiful to the eye. However, a familiar voice distracts her, and she turns her head toward the sound.

"Do you have those roses, you know? The bright red ones?"

    Damn, really?

You turn your head and your smile slowly fades. There she is, Dinah Lance, your ex-lover. Dinah pushes up her glasses, and her blue eyes become even more familiar to you. She never thought she'd see you again. Neither did you. You were Oliver and her best friend. When she broke up with him, you were comforting her, a lot, maybe too much.

You ended up in bed together. It was supposed to be just that one day, but it ended up being several, resulting in an affair that lasted almost half a month. Dinah and you agreed that what happened would never happen again and that you would never see each other again.

It seems that wasn't the case.

"What are you doing here?" You asked. Through the window, you could see a light drizzle falling, adding to the snow that was falling and sticking to the glass.

"Um, I'm asking the same thing," replied Black Canary, putting her sweaty hands in her jacket pockets. It seemed like there was a wall between the two of you that prevented you from getting closer. And with good reason.
