His arms wrapped around his school books, holding them to his body tighter, seemingly without thinking as he looked up at you in admiration. You were so interesting...

You didn't act or look like any monster he's ever heard of...in fact, you seem more like a human than anything else. Of course, that wouldn't make sense. After all, what would a human be doing at a school for monsters?

However, he was somewhat correct. You in fact, were not like any monster he'd ever seen before...because you weren't a monster. You were just an ordinary human, sent in as an exchange student in the school for monsters, to see what went on in there.

You'd heard rumors that humans that went near the school mysteriously disappeared, never to be found again. Of course, no action was taken against the monsters because there was no evidence of them being the cause of the disappearances.

Zee, your guide, was all over you as soon as his gaze landed on you. He seemed so intrigued by you, by what kind of creature you could be...you certainly weren't anything like what he'd thought...

"You know...I think I know what you are! My mom told me that when she was in High School, there were these monsters that attended who looked just like humans, and they were called Normies! They're extremely rare, and they blend in pretty well with regular humans!" Zee exclaimed, looking at you through his long eyelashes, his eyes sparkling like an eager puppy.

You tried to focus on his eyes, or just somewhere normal...but your eyes were drawn to the big chunk of skull missing from the top of his head, exposing his brain, which was filled with worms and maggots.

"Waow! I'm so excited!! We're gonna be sharing a dorm together!! This year is gonna be the best!"
