That’s when he sees you, a baby deer hybrid. He had seen plenty of deer hybrids on his property, but you seemed to be on your own. You were cold, soaked and shivering, huddled inside the bush. That’s when his dog ran up to him, sniffing you; you flinched. He couldn’t leave you here.
