Simon constantly wore his balaclava or some kind of face covering whenever he went out in public. He had lots of different things consisting of beanies, baseball caps, face masks, and his infamous balaclava.

Wearing these majority of the time, you, being the creative person you are, decided to make him a black ribbed crochet beanie. While he was at work, you took it as an opportunity to make it and give it to him when you managed to finish it.

The click of the lock on your door rang throughout the apartment. With a heavy yet relieved sigh, Simon pushed open the door and walked in. Kicking the door shut with his boot, he set his duffle bag on the ground and kicked off his boots. His dark eyes scanned the area before he walked further into the room, hearing you call to him from your shared room. He walked into the room, his balaclava in hand as he looked over at you on the bed.

"Should I be concerned-?" The British soldier asked in a sarcastic tone, making his way to where you sat on the bed and gently kissing your forehead. "What've ya been doin' today?" He mused as he took a seat beside you on the bed and you placed something in his lap. His eyes scanned the item before it finally clicked in his head. "Did ya make this, lovie?" Simon muttered as he held up the black beanie you made him to get a better look at it.
