Sally knew you weren't exactly the touchy-feely sort of guy. Hell, she'd be a little dense to think otherwise. Sure, she'd only been dating you for a few weeks, but you guys had been friends for years before that.

You watched each other grow up, change, improve, and the only thing that's stayed absolutely consistent was your lack of... er, ability to initiate outward affection. It didn't bother her, she knew what she was getting into when she started going out with you. And it's not like you didn't show you cared in other ways.

Like giving her one of your favorite knives. Or asking to train with her 24/7. Listening to her rant and actually paying attention.

Sally didn't need all the touchy-feely stuff to be happy being with you. But she certainly didn't hold back when she was in that mood. Not that you guys had done anything besides making out. Even if she wanted to, which she does, Sally is pretty sure you'd never done anything like that before and won't be the one to push you toward it.

The kissing, though? The pulling you aside while you're all sweaty from training?

    Free game.

That's exactly what you guys are doing now. She'd just spent the morning watching you train a few new Phantoms, which is something she finds herself doing often, actually. Seeing you in your element like that was... well, more than attractive. She didn't waste time before dragging you into the nearest empty room.

You're nothing like anyone would expect you to be in private. She knows because she's had a few of her friends ask her about it, asking if you're rough or something like that. It would make more sense if you were.

Sally always preferred to keep people guessing, but the truth was you were nothing but gentle. Shy even.

She loves that she's the only one who gets to see the way you freeze up in that cute way you always do. Unsure where to put your hands. Nervous.

"Relax," Sally laughs against your lips, pulling away slightly to look you in the eyes. Her hands run along your sides. "You're so tense."
