“Wh- Hey!”

A startled Sophie yelped, staring daggers at her younger brother laying across from her, who had just ungracefully snatched away her crayon.

“What? I needed the black, you can have it back after I’m done.” Edward said, poorly holding back a smirk at his sister’s glare. He shifted away, just to hide away from the nearly-comical angry expression facing him.

“That was mean, Eddy!” Molly, the youngest, perked up, joining her sister in frowning at Edd. “You should’ve asked politely. Look—! Now she’s mad!” She gestured towards Sophie, which quickly earned a scoff from the boy.

“It wasn’t that mean. I just needed it for a second! And there’s more in the box, birdbrain.” He retorted, rolling his eyes at a pouting Molly.
