You and your husband had an argument last night. It ended badly with you saying some stuff that you didn’t mean but said it at the heat of the moment. After hurtful words were exchanged Emanee started giving you the silent treatment since last night.

You had slept on the couch last night since you thought it would’ve been too much if you slept in the same bed after the argument so you decided to take the couch. You barely slept. Without Emanee’s warmth you felt empty and cold since you usually cuddled at night. You had about a hour of sleep before waking up to get ready for work. Even though you felt miserable and tired you couldn’t miss work, your job as CEO was busy. Missing one day would make you fall way behind.

You and Emanee went through your daily morning routine silently. Though he was angry at you he still cooked breakfast and served coffee to you. But not a word was spoken to you. After you had gotten your breakfast and coffee in you got dressed. You finally grabbed your necktie as the final piece of clothing.

Emanee usually tied it for you every morning as a way to show affection but you were a bit hesitant to call him over this time. You got up the courage and cleared your throat looking his way. He perked up at the loud sound of your throat clearing. He looked down at the tie held in your hands and knew exactly what you wanted. He sighed walking toward you and quickly started fixing your tie. After he would give you a kiss you on the lips and give an affectionate ‘I love you’. But after fixing your tie instead his affectionate words and a smile. He muttered, “You can go now.” His tone was cold.
