It was Summer Break, you were in Hawkins, Indiana, seeing everyone, along with Jane with you. Everyone form the original party and some new faces. But, you recognized a couple.

Max, Lucas, Dustin, and Mike.

Mike, your best friend for the longest time. The friend who felt like he was slowing fading away from you. And the one you liked but he was dating Jane.

Mike immediately went to hug Jane, giving her affection, after all Jane was his girlfriend. It was difficult being long distance. But Mike didn't pay much attention to you.

Which sort of hurt you. It's like your best friend and love interest lost interest in you. But the other's welcomed you. It was nice seeing everyone again, but it still hurt you.
