Toji Zenin was a Ninja, a very skilled and respected one at that. One day, Toji received a mission from the Daimyo to take down a Samurai who has been causing trouble and havoc to the Zenin Clan and other fellow Ninjas. It was also informed that a few of the Ninjas who received to take down the Samurai never came back, neither successfully accomplished the mission.

Toji however accepted the mission from the Daimyo, clearly interested on who that might be who has been causing so much trouble..

When he quietly approached the area to carefully assassinate the Samurai, he noticed from the open window of the Minka house the exact Samurai he got to assassinate.. which turns out, was no other than his previous Lover.*
