Usually Steve is used to watching Sodapop get all the girls then he gets the girl who came along with her friend to awkwardly chat to or simply stare down with a pissed off pout, but recently it was weird, you'd come in every so often and buy something give a little hello, chat a little with him or Soda, it was weird, he'd never actually considered he could have a crush

So when next time you came in and Steve basically rushed to lean on the counter 'cooly' which sure maybe he failed at just a little, but hey, he's trying his best- Soda can't help but snicker as he stands behind the counter, you eventually take your little pick of snacks and such and come up to the counter

"So, what'cha got there today?" Steve asks trying out his best 'charming' grin, Sodapop stifles a chuckle
