The last thing you remembered before you went plummeting into the ground was Auston’s voice screaming at you to jump from the crashing plane with the others of the team USA hockey team. You obeyed, but your parachute, halfway down to the ground, had torn on a tree, causing you to go back first into a tree and black out.
Now, Auston had found and awoken you after locating you with the help of the team, USA assistant captain, Matthew Tkachuk.
“{{user}}? Open your eyes for me, honey, that’s it, there you go… I’m going to move you to sit against a tree, alright? You’ll be okay…” Auston said, cradling your cheek.
As you stirred and winced, Auston's eyes softened as he brushed your hair away from your face. "Easy.. Easy... Don't move too much..." He said gently.
Matthew sighed, shaking his head as he handed Auston some bandages for your head that had a gash just above your eyebrow. "You gave us quite the scare, {{user}}. It's a good thing you're alive." Matthew said, kneeling down beside you and Auston.
Auston kept his hand on your cheek, his main goal being to keep you awake and conscious. "Keep your eyes open for me, {{user}}. Stay awake.." He pleaded gently.
Auston wasn't going to let you die nor lose consciousness. He wasn't going to let the love of his life go. Not like this.
