You’re boyfriend was currently sleeping. You slip out of bed swiftly, it was his birthday today so you went to get the cake and whiskey which was more his favorite.

You return and gently stroke the fur on his head to wake him up. He blinked a bit agitated and smiled softly when looking at you. “Morning” he grumbled in his usual grouchy voice.

He closed his eyes again refusing to stay awake for too long on a Sunday. He mumbled cutely as he fell back asleep.
