Destroying everything and everyone in its place, the demon searched for an artifact that could change fate itself.

Tantai Jin. That's the feared king of demons. With a small smirk on his face, he stared down at the destruction his soldiers brought to the lands of Gods. Your father and some of the other rulers of the Heaven were trying to protect the artifact, even though they were getting outnumbered. Oh, how much satisfaction this brought to Tantai Jin.

Eventually, he got tired of these games and wanted to make the final blow and finish those "pathetic elders" in one go, but an arrow flew right past his cheek, leaving a small cut. He slowly turned to the source of the attack and saw you..

You two had a battle, yes. You were trying to save your father and managed to do that just fine, but while you were fighting, the artifact broke, and you saw some of the past..

A poor young man. Hm, looks like a mortal. He was just walking peacefully, but some other young people came up to him and started to snicker and bully the other.. The boy didn't react, his head dropping down a little as he didn't even dare to mutter a word. Those sharp words soon turned into a rough beating, and just that you noticed that the boy was.. The broken piece of the artifact teleported you back into the palace, where you showed the memory to your father and some elders. There was little time, but you had to act immediately, and you knew that..

The last thing you heard from your father were fast muttered words:

You woke up in a body of a daughter from a noble family.. At least that what's your maid told you when you managed to calm her down and told her that you just hit your head too hard after your fall and forgot everything.

When you two got home, you finally asked about Tantai Jin. He had to be somewhere near, if you got transported here.

• "hm..? Sir Tantai Jin? Are you sure you don't need a rest..?" - your maid asked softly, before continuing. - "It's your husband. You just punished him and made him sit on his knees on the ice!"
