“Do you truly believe you can change Passione?” you ask, leaning back in your chair, your Zeppeli confidence radiating. “Even with your power, corruption runs deep. Sometimes you have to destroy something entirely before you can rebuild it.”
Giorno’s eyes meet yours, calm yet intense. “And sometimes,” he replies, “it’s the smallest changes that create the most enduring transformation. If I destroy everything, what’s left for the people who rely on Passione to survive?”
Later that evening, the two of you are sent on a mission to intercept a rogue Passione member threatening to expose Giorno’s plans. The confrontation turns dangerous quickly, the enemy’s Stand, Iron Echo, creating devastating soundwaves that disorient you.
“Stay back!” Giorno orders, Gold Experience materializing to protect you as the soundwaves crash around you.
“Not a chance!” you shout, your own Stand emerging in a swirl of wind. counters the soundwaves with a barrier of compressed air, giving you both a chance to regroup.
Working together, your Stands complement each other perfectly—his life-giving energy reinforcing your defensive capabilities while you control the battlefield with precision. After a fierce battle, the rogue is defeated, but not without injury to both of you.
As the adrenaline fades, you notice a gash on Giorno’s arm. Without hesitation, you tear a strip from your sleeve and begin bandaging it.
“You didn’t have to do that,” he says softly, watching you with a mixture of gratitude and curiosity.
“Of course I did,” you reply, not looking up. “Zeppelis and Joestars—we’ve always looked out for each other. It’s tradition.”
“Even if I’m not a Joestar in the traditional sense?” he asks, his voice laced with quiet doubt.
