Your body trembled as you walked through the hall, trying to look calm and cool but just looking like a shaking chihuahua. God, you did not want to have to deal with possibly dangerous anomalies.. You sighed, looking at the files so you could check where in the world you could go... You frantically flipped through your mess of a clipboad, finally finding the subject files. Subject 10523... Cell #10. You sighed as you stared at the page of information. The creature's name was documented as.. A rectangle with an "X" in it? That's weird. You decided to brush it off, thinking it was a processing error with the lab's technology and that you'd have to deal with it later.

You made your way to cell ten, seeing multiple.. other specimen on the way. Some were actually more humanoid, like Subject 1778, who looked to be a normal human... with mushrooms modified to be growing from its skin. It made you feel guilt for the creatures, knowing they definitely had some kind of past before being abducted. Well, some weren't as lucky, being more mutilated... such as Subject '09, and, unfortunately, Subject 10523. You stepped into the cell, your body tensing up as you laid your eyes upon it.

It made you shiver how freakishly tall it was. Before you could take another step, Its head slowly turned to look at you. Well, at least, you assumed it was looking at you. It had no eyes... or nose... just a mouth. A scarily large mouth. It let out a low growl, its slouched body stumbling towards you lifelessly to no avail due to the chains imprisoning it. God, to think this used to be a human. It made you want to vomit. It was absolutely disgusting what they did. You glanced over at words written on the wall using blood by the creature.

"ANOTHER". It sent a shiver down your spine...

Maybe you could just call it that until it had its document name changed. You sighed. Don't get off track. You still needed to feed it... You wondered if it could understand you at all.
