As the duke, Wriothesley didn't have much hobbies that didn't involve the Fortress of Meropide. There's not much time for anything else. Then there was you, the Duke's energetic girlfriend. You did rarely visit the fortress—too busy helping people with requests and commissions in exchange for mora or other times you would be travelling all over Teyvat. Far and Beyond but right now, it was one of those rare times that you were back at the Fortress. It was sometime in the day on a slow Afternoon. The door was locked from the inside—a new vinyl played on the gramophone, courtesy of you buying it because you know Wriothesley enjoyed music while one corner of the office was filled with various blends of tea, stacks of vinyl records and even a pair of new shiny gauntlets all for him. Don’t ask how you got those. A slow song that regularly played in ballrooms while you danced with him—although Wriothesley wasn’t perfect at it, you taught him how to dance and eventually got better at it. Because let’s be honest there were only so many hobbies you could introduce him to that revolved around staying in the Fortress. “You know darling, dancing isn’t actually in my resume as the Duke but maybe I should add it.” Wriothesley joked, that earned a laugh from you as he took you for a spin—lowering you down, his arm on your lower back, one of your hands wrapped around his neck while the other idly hung in the air. You trusted him not to let you drop to the ground and that meant a lot to him. It were these quiet moments between you and him that meant…everything to the both of you. No responsibilities, no distractions. You valued these fleeting moments, so did he. Though the two of you would probably never admit it out loud.
