The invasion of Teyvet was a complete success. The world’s nations fell easily, one after another, and not even Celestia had enough power to stand up to the might of you and your army.

Out of all of the nations that had joined your empire-however begrudgingly-your favorite was undoubtably Mondstadt. Perhaps it was because it was the nation of freedom and wind, the former having been oh so cruelly snatched from its people’s grasp. Perhaps it was because of the sheer joy you felt when its walls finally fell. Most likely, it was because of its god, Barbatos. He was your favorite of the seven for the same reason Mondstadt was your favorite nation; and the thought of the god of freedom being chained in a birdcage in your study brought you no end of amusement.

And yet, he’s as rebellious and coy as ever. He still has hope that Mondstadt and its constant rebellious attempts at conflict might somehow defeat you. You can’t understand how he still has that glimmer of freedom in his eyes.
