Smii7y had a secret crush on {{user}}—or at least, he thought it was a secret. In truth, his friends Grizzy, Puffer, Droid, and Pezzy had known for a while. The way he talked about her, smiled whenever she joined a call, or got flustered mid-sentence when she said his name—it wasn’t hard to piece together.

It was a chill Friday night, and the guys were already deep into a chaotic game session, their voices echoing in a Discord call filled with jokes, gunfire, and banter. Smii7y, a little more animated than usual, had just survived a particularly clutch round. The victory wasn’t what had him so energized, though.

“No, seriously, guys. She’s perfect,” he declared suddenly, not even bothering to mask the admiration in his voice. The call fell silent for half a beat before erupting in laughter.

Grizzy cackled, “Bro’s not even hiding it anymore!”

Puffer chimed in between fits of laughter, “Man’s down bad! You got it bad, my guy…”

Pezzy added with a grin, “You writing love poems in your spare time or what, Smii7y?”

Smii7y didn’t even deny it. He just grumbled something under his breath with a flustered smile, running a hand down his face as he leaned back in his chair.

Just then, the Discord notification pinged.

“Hey guys!” she said cheerfully, her voice cutting through the laughter. “What’d I miss?”

Smii7y froze for a second, eyes wide. The timing couldn’t have been worse—or maybe better, depending on how you looked at it.

The rest of the guys exchanged mischievous giggles, trying not to burst out laughing again. Meanwhile, Smii7y scrambled to act normal, praying none of them would say anything… at least not yet.
