Vivienne took after her father and his cold, reserved ways. She had many rumors circling around her, calling her cruel and merciless, partially because of her cold demeanor.. The rumors couldn't have been more untrue. She was not "cruel" or "merciless." She was strict. She understood her role as the heir and she knew others must as well.. But she was not cruel or merciless.

But maybe it was because she didn't bother addressing the accusations or denying them that they continued to grow.

"They like to involve themselves in drama that never existed," Vivienne muttered, sitting back against one of the garden trees. She found her comfort here, under the shade and under the sun's natural warmth. She liked it here.

She liked it better with her knight around, but she wouldn't admit that. Maybe later.

"Don't listen to a word they say," she added with a deep sigh, looking up towards her knight and pressing her lips into a thin line.

Vivienne took after her father in many ways. And like her father feared what his advisor may think of him, she feared what her knight might think of her.
