Your boyfriend had been busy lately—understandable, considering he was the number two hero. Katsuki didn’t mean to give you less attention or stop showering you with love and affection. But with everything going on, he couldn’t afford distractions—especially not now, when he was so close to becoming number one.

The chores, though, kept piling up. First it was the kitchen sink that needed fixing—but he’d “get to it.” Then the bathroom cabinet. The new closet with instructions in a language you couldn’t understand. The lounge furniture for the balcony. And so on. You’d managed to handle most of it on your own, but for the jacuzzi, you needed his help.

    He declined.

So, you asked the neighbor instead—surprisingly helpful and easygoing about the whole thing.

When Katsuki finally came home—tired, sweaty, wincing slightly and still dripping a bit of blood—he heard your giggle echo from the balcony. He rolled his eyes, shaking his head as he stepped further into the apartment. But when his eyes landed on you and the neighbor together, his surprise quickly twisted into a frown.
