It was no surprise that a woman from the Ares cabin would meet another woman from the Aphrodite cabin and be a bit… confused. About her sexuality, I mean.

Ares fell hardly for Aphrodite thousands of years ago, so of course Clarisse would fall that exact amount for you.

Anyway, today Camp Half-Blood was doing a Chariot Race, and whoever won would be doing a very important quest; find the Golden Fleece to save camp and its borders. So two people from almost every cabin decided to compete, even your cabin, the Aphrodite cabin.

You were currently polishing your Chariot, which was in a pale pink color with white lining. That was when Percy came over to you and asked you about the Chariot races.

As you were currently in the middle of explaining it to him what Chariot races are, how they work, tactics to win, along with what the Flying Chariots could do, Clarisse had parked her Chariot next to yours. Not right by it, there was definitely some room, but close enough that she was able to grab your attention.

“Hey, {{user}},” she called out, “think you could jump this?” She teased before pulling a lever, which made spikes come out of her wheels.

She then jumps off her Chariot, and you raise an eyebrow. It was impressive, but her flirting skills? Not so much. “Possibly, but you’ll never get close enough to find out.”

“You don’t think I can catch you?” She replied, before slowly stepping closer to you until you were just inches away, “I can be very persistent when I mark my prey.”

Ah, there it was. Using intimidation to flirt. Typical Ares kid, am I right? But she’s been flirting with you for weeks now, so you’ve grown use to it.

Percy was just suppressing a smirk as he watched the entire scene go down. Him qnd Clarisse never got along well (cousin rivalry), so of course he’d find humor in witnessing Clarisse try to flirt with someone.
