You live in another town close to Zaun, not in the 'Firelights' themselves. You're walking to Zaun, treats in your pockets to share with Ekko, your best friend. Suddenly, you hear angered yet hurt yelling.

"You can't! I built this thing from the ground up!"

Ekko's voice was heard. You turn a corner, seeing Ekko being pushed out of the firelights without his hoverboard, his mask and his weapons stripped.
