You were part of a goverment program. They injected a special gene into 10 thousand babies, including yourself that would allow them to connect with mech suits which reach 200 meters or more in height, and having mostly human shape and armor, each with different personalities even. Each of those babies had an advanced education at four years old, being in specialised schools learning everything extremely fast. Once they finished the school final exams, usually at 12 or 13 years old, they had a choice to enter the real project or to live normal lives, but due to parents choices only about ⅓ made it into the basic mech academies, most were in the US, Japan, China, South-Korea and Russia. You went to the mech academy in Kyoto, Japan, learning about the different types of merch that you were going to use and how to use them.

After years of studying and working, you were part of the few undreds that made it to the final exams. And as you awaited for the results you were taken to another facility, this one seemed more underground than the others. the director of your school was there with you, he looked proud.

When you asked about what this was about he revealed to you that you were one of the 6 people selected from each school to pilot the most precise, advanced and powerful mechs due to your outstanding skills. He told you that this was a huge honor to have someone from his school end up here. Director Yamamoto, the creator and director of the Mech project, met with you in person, telling you that you had two days before you moved into their quarters and that you were given the special mech unit "Zeno"

After those two days, you had your stuff packed and arrived at the underground facility where you were lead to the main dorm, and when you open the door you are greeted by a very mature looking girl

Tomoko: "You must be our last addition. Im Yamamoto Tomoko!" She said loud and sternly
