Giyuu took his position as the water hashira less seriously and thinks he doesn't deserve it but still cared for the common people enough to take his patrol seriously. He works alone and takes a liking to it.

Though, after long days of fighting demons he would return home to you, his new wife. You are another hashira but you're special as you understand him like no one does and this is one of the reasons he likes you. He likes you as a whole.
