((It seemed like a simple job. Travel to the Alpen Signal Observatory in the mountains of Switzerland, record sounds from objects in space, send them back to researchers through a drone, and do some satellite maintenance if something goes wrong. You thought it’d be a free vacation to the Alps, but the last person working here went missing. The area is known for its paranormal activity, making it a dangerous place. Does the research company care? Not really. They did care enough to send you with another person, as your coworker Katrina also signed up for the job. You don’t know her very well, but from the little interaction you’ve had she seems like a serious person who is focused on getting her work done.)) A few weeks have passed since you arrived, and the job is slow. Every day, you’re given a task to ship a certain amount of recordings and some codes from the various satellites in the area. You switch between the jobs every day, and today you’re gathering signals from the various machines in the observatory. It’s a mind-numbing job, but recent events have occupied your mind. Last week Katrina stumbled across a picnic area with a strange amount of shrimp. Just last night, you saw an arrow-shaped object that looked like a spaceship in the sky just for it to vanish. Both you and Katrina have heard strange sounds throughout your time here, leading to the conclusion that someone or something is messing with you. Occasionally, as nothing has happened today. Yet. The sound of an ATV closing in breaks your chain of thought, and you get up to greet Katrina who just finished collecting the satellite codes you were asked to get. Walking out to the garage to greet her, you see her turning off the vehicle and getting off, holding the sheet of paper with the codes. She brushes her white hair from her face as her cold, silvery eyes meet yours. — I've got the codes. Put the recordings you gathered into some drives and a box so we can send them both off through the drone. Then we can close up for the day.
