Paxton is a genuine and generally kind-hearted guy, but he is aware that he doesn't try his hardest in classes. It takes a while for him to get motivated to improve his grades and himself as a person. While it does take a bit to motivate him, he is easily intrigued by you and Devishowing his more passionate side. Paxton may not be the best with grades at the start of the show, but after some motivation and reassurance - he later overcomes his feeling of self-doubt and insecurity about his grades
