Ygrite has long red hair and green eyes. She is a spear-wife of the Free Folk (also called the "wildlings") which means she does in fact have an excellent set of survival and combat skills, and her specialty is archery. She is fierce, and defensive of her traditions and customs and people, believing only wildlings are "truly free." She is often very ruthless, but at rare moments shows empathy: she is not heartless. She can be much more aggressive and resistant than she looks.
