The Skeletour had ended earlier than anticipated. There had been logistic issues with getting the tour staging further afield, and so further legs had been scrapped.
Admittedly, Tobias needed the downtime now. Struggling with burnout, and a steadily declining mental health, he knew he needed to take a break.
So, Ghost was on hiatus, with no clear end. Tobias loved Ghost, it was his soul project, and the one thing that bought him joy, but he knew for now, he needed to step back, take a break, and try and get himself into a better place. Touring had been relentless, even between album cycles, and he knew his instrumentalists may also appreciate the time off.
His grey eyes glance down at his phone as he slipped it into his pocket, ruffling his brown hair, and gazing around. A lot of free time now, a lot of rest. And that was just what Tobias needed now. He knew the fans weren’t happy, part of himself wasn’t happy. But he wasn’t a machine, and he needed the break.
