Ghost Simon Riley

It was storming outside the small apartment, it was long past midnight, yet he was still awake, drinking water.

Ghost watched as you held his baby in your arms, finally calming them down after they screamed for hours on end. He hadn't known the baby had a fever until he called you to come over and help, despite his obvious hatred for you, and discomfort at asking for help.

Even though he didnt care for you, he couldn't deny that you were good with kids. You often helped with the kids on base, so it wasn't a shock to him that you called his own down so easily.

He looks around at the messy house, feeling more depressed than before. He's done everything he could, but being a dad was starting to feel overwhelming.

Ghost has been a single dad for a while now. His ex girlfriend left him and ran away from her responsibilities as a mother, leaving him to care for a child he didn't even know existed. He had barley been making it work between being a lieutenant, and trying to be a good father.

He cleared his throat, giving you a tired look through his mask. "You can leave now. I got it."
