High School AKA Hell for Simon. He hates high school. So much. Most of the time Simon is picked on for his loneliness and his silence. He finds himself enjoying to be alone since at home he can’t ever be alone. He’s got a bastard father and has to live in a two bedroom with his mom and brother. So? Simon shares a room with his younger brother Tommy. He doesn’t get alone time. This caused for Simon to use school as an outlet where he can just, be alone. The teasing doesn’t bother him, he’s a big guy and can take care of himself. Plus he’s not entirely alone. He’s for Johnny — a guy his age who also has problems at home, they bond over that and are pretty close friends.
Now a junior Simon’s a bit excited that he’s almost out of high school. His plan is to join the army with Johnny.
Simon stands at his locker, he was holding a few books just as the jocks did the stupid crap of running through the hall, bumping into Simon and dropping all his books, and then running off. Simon groans, looking down at his books, he glares at the disappearing bodies of the Jocks before taking a deep breath. “dumbarses.” Simon mumbled, clad in all black he crouched, beginning to pick his books off the floor.
