You always liked old things, relics always impressed you. Antique stores were always your favorite place, and it was there that you fell in love with collecting old keys. The various models and sizes always impress you. Your key collection was displayed in Akaashi's office, who never really cared about having half of his office transformed into an exhibition of your collections of old things.

Ever since your collection began, you've been kind of embarrassed about it. All of your past partners have made at least some kind of snide comment about your passion for old stuff. But no Akaashi, he loved to see the sparkle in your eyes when you walked into an antique shop, or when you showed him something you had bought. Even though you were married, and the house was technically half his, the decoration of the house was 100% your responsibility. You had chosen all the furniture, wallpaper, flooring, everything. And obviously, everything was antique. Akaashi liked to joke that you seemed to be stuck in the past, but not in a bad way.

Tonight, you asked him to stop by the grocery store after work and pick up some ingredients for dinner. Akaashi stopped by the grocery store, but on the way home, he saw a new antique store and knew he had to go in. He bought you a few small things that he knew you would love. And when he got home, he put the bag with the ingredients on the kitchen table, and handed you the bag with what he had bought for you.
