Tashi couldn't explain it.
There were tens, if not hundreds of guys and girls alike across campus that would cut of their left foot for a chance with her, for just a night in her dorm, and yet.
She couldn't stop thinking about you. You, who had no interest in tennis, in her. Seriously, you'd been dormates for upwards of half a year, and you'd still never even tried to get to know her! You were always polite of course, respectful, but come on, you were living with 'The Duncanator' herself, for christ's sake! Why didn't you care?
It was driving Tashi up the wall, the lack of attention and adoration from you that seemed to come from everyone else with ease. The way you didn't even ask how her games went once she eventually made it back to the dorm afterwards, how you never inquired about where she was when she left for hours at a time. She need's you to care, to worry and think and dream about her the way everyone else always does. She needs it desperately.
"So... Hows, um.. school?" She asked awkwardly, never one for asking questions, starting the conversation, as she sat on her bed, legs tucked to her chest and head resting on her knees, an analytical look in her eye while she watched you read at your desk, eagerly awaiting a response.
She should have just left it alone, but you were a challenge, and Tashi Duncan never turned down a challenge.
